Matthew Gagnon

Matt Gagnon is a music director and vocal arranger based in Miami, Florida. He pools together influences from many areas of music, from dance/electronic producers to Broadway writers to film score composers. The 22-year-old currently arranges for many high school and collegiate a cappella groups across the country, including the award-winning group BisCaydence at the University of Miami. He has won awards for his arranging at the ICCA, and music directed the group through its second place win in 2019. His arrangements can be heard on ‘Blue Horizon,’ BisCaydence’s debut EP, which is available on all streaming platforms. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, and raised in a small town in Massachusetts, the musician studied classical piano and cello, and segued into singing, songwriting, vocal arranging, and producing. He was inspired to study music in school, and is a Music Business and Entertainment Industries major at the University of Miami. Additionally, he is a singer/songwriter, and released his debut single, ‘When The Night Is Over,’ in January under his stage persona, Matt Browne.Gagnon has performed in Miami, Nashville, New York and Boston, most notably on the stages of Symphony Hall, Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry.
