You've spent months perfecting your set for LAAF, or ICCAs, or your spring show. But now it's show day and you have to factor in the sound system - the mics, the monitors, the subs - and everything you've worked on gets literally drowned out. How can you put on your best performance when you have to deal with this whole new element at the last minute? Let’s talk soundchecks - mic technique, efficient and effective communication with your engineer, dialing in a great VP sound, setting up monitors, and - most importantly - let’s talk about the things groups do that make or break on-mic performances. In addition, we'll break down and provide you resources on how best to plan out a music video or other video project for you a cappella group.
